Dr. Sarbjit Singh Chinna is PhD in (Agricultural Economics) and Retd. Official as Dean, Faculty of Agriculture & Head, Department of Economics & Sociology, Khalsa College, Amritsar (PB.) India. He has served as the member of State Educational Advisory Board Punjab, Member Senate, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and Faculty of Agriculture & Forestry, G.N.D.U., Amritsar etc. and is also a life time member of Indian Red Cross Society and SAARC Fedration of Writers and Art. Recently, he has been honored with life time achievement award from Sahit Kendar Gurdaspur and Project Director, Research Study on Panchayat Elections: Punjab-200 by Institute of Social Sciences, New Delhi. He has been a part of many national and international conferences. His work and contribution are also presented in the form of books such as :- Marginal Farmers & Agricultural Labourers, Micro Economics, Economics for Commerce and many more.
