Deliberation was held upon the “Employability Matrix – skilling 450 million workforce for New India” on July 27, 2019 (Saturday) at Le Meridian, New Delhi keeping in mind the benchmark set by the PM Narendra Modi to make India $5 trillion economy in next five years. This would certainly require alteration and restructuring of various plans and programmes.
In this discussion, top leadership of RSS, BJP, bureaucrats, academicians, CEOs, ex-bureaucrats and other relevant stakeholders discoursed about the existing skill and upskill programmes, how these can be made more scalable, zeroing in the fertile sectors, identifying requirements and skills to support these sectors. Along with this, the dignitaries also discussed the impact of new age technologies, like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IOTs, BOTs, big data and their impact on jobs, identification of the new skills required to deal with the changing paradigm
