Mr. Sanjay Kapoor is a Commerce Graduate from DAV College, Amritsar. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the year 1992 and is a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
He is a senior partner in M/s Sanjay Kapoor & Co. Chartered Accountants, Amritsar and has gained vast experience in handling Statutory, Internal and Concurrent audits of large corporates and public sector institutions. He also has in depth understanding of taxation and company related matters.
Keeping in view his remarkable performance and strong administrative skills, he is appointed as CA director in Board of Oriental Bank of Commerce in July 2016 by Ministry of Finance, Central Government.
Besides, he was the President of Income Tax Bar Association, Amritsar in the year 2017-18. He was an executive member of Income Tax Bar Association for the past 23 years and also served as Secretary of Income Tax Bar Association in the year 2012-13 and Vice President during the year 2016-17. He also served as member, Professional Development Committee in 2012-13 at Northern Regional Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
He is also a social activist and is a trustee of an NGO “Citizen Forum Vidya Mandir” wherein free education is provided to the poor students in drug affected locality of Amritsar. He is also secretary of Shaheed Harbans lal Khanna Satkar Samiti, Amritsar.
