Ms. Shagun Madaan is a Research Fellow in Centre For Economic Policy Research, Chandigarh since January 2020. She holds a Masters in Economics degree and a B.A.(Economics hons) degree from Panjab University. She is UGC-NET qualified.
She currently conducts policy research, prepares reports catered towards multiple stakeholders for the Institute and helps organize multi-stakeholder meetings and conclaves. She has a diverse range of experience in the fields of Secondary Research, Content Creation, Report Writing on various sectors of the economy including Indian Resources, Banking, Tourism, Digital India etc. She has also assisted in editing a NITI Aayog Project Report on Impact Assessment of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana submitted by CEPR.
