Role of Retail Sector in $5 trillion Economy

Centre for Economic Policy Research, CEPR, along with Swadeshi Jagran Manch, SJM has organised a close door roundtable on “Role of Retail Sector in $5 trillion Economy”, on November 15, 2019 at Le Meridien, New Delhi.

At this roundtable,  industry leaders along with top leadership of RSS, BJP, bureaucrats, academicians, ex-bureaucrats and other relevant stakeholders were gathered to deliberate the challenges and complications faced by the retail sector in India. All the relevant steps for appropriate solution, especially how to make the sector more efficient were discovered. Also, discussion was laid regarding how the contribution of this sector in country’s GDP can improve, along with providing more job opportunities.
