The agrochemical sector is recognized by the government, as among the 12 champion sectors where India can play an important role in the global supply chain. There is immense potential for it to not just be a champion contributor towards India’s $5 trillion economy vision but also to become a World’s No. 1. CEPR is committed to the sustainable development of Bharat with environmental safety as one of its paramount duties. At the same time, we also recognise the illustrious role played by the Indian Agrochemical Industry in achieving the goal of sustainable development of Bharat. Therefore, we call for further deliberation on these challenges in order to reach a well-laid-out sustainable solution for both, the Industry and the environment, ultimately giving us the best of both worlds.
