In the same process, CEPR and Swadeshi Swavlamban Nyas are Co-organising a Round Table Discussion on Strategies to Revamp Indian Pharmaceutical Sector for COVID and other health Challenges on 08th June 2021, Tuesday, from 11:00 A.M. to 01:00 P.M. It is designed as a thought-exchange platform, that will bring together some of the best minds in the Pharmaceutical Industry, Thought leaders, Members of the BJPs top leadership, policymakers along with some of the best international names.
India, known as “The Pharmacy of the World” , is the third largest Pharmaceutical Industry in the World in terms of volume and fourteenth largest in terms of value and is expected to reach to USD 100 billion in the year 2025 . 50% of global demand for various medicines is met by the Indian Pharmaceutical sector. Lately COVID 19 has thrown us off the usual but has also offered to us an opportunity to revisit everything with a new perspective, a new lens. Therefore, in this pursuit, Centre for Economic Policy Research and Swadeshi Swavlamban Nyas are Co-organising a Round Table Discussion with corporate law makers policy formulators, and academicians, along with industry professionals to evolve a shared vision among these vital stakeholders on a neutral platform.
