 CEPR in association withSwadeshi JagranManch have organizedSwadeshi Mela at Dussehra Ground Phase 8, Mohali from 4-8 November, 2015. It’s a unique initiative being brought for the public of Chandigarh tricity.
Swadeshi Mela was aimed to promoting the small scale industry (SMEs) by providing them a good platform to display their products. The four day Mela has been inaugurated by Sh. Chuni Lal Bhagat, Minister for Forest and Wildlife, Punjab.

The event has provided people of tricity to have a glimpse of very own made in India local products. The event has diverse daily theme based on which various activities had been performed during the day. Swadeshi Mela has included around 200 products stalls, daily seminars, and also fun events and a daily cultural event in the evening.

 

CEPR has been always protagonist for the cause of local industries and manufacturer. Hence,CEPR associated itself with Swadeshi Jaagran Manch to organize the consumer events where only Indian manufacturers will be allowed to display their products. It was a huge success with Rs 4 cr. (approx.) sales generated for 270 participants, more than 2 lacs people visiting the event.

CEPR takes opportunity prides itself with the fact that it was first ever such event in Punjab by any organization. Sh. Kaptan Singh Solanki (Hon’ble Governor Punjab & Haryana) Sh. Manohar lal Khattar (Chief Minister Haryana), Sh. Vijay Sampla ( State Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt of India) and several ministers of Punjab Haryana Government graced the occasion.
